摘要：杉木不仅是我国古代物质文化生活中一种重要的实用性树种，在传统营造中也充当着十分重要的角色。本文着重探讨了杉木在古代营造实践中的应用，包括古代其对其性能认识的变化，杉木的人工培植和地域分布，杉木在古代科技条件下的采伐、归集和运输技术，并介绍了其一般的计量方法。

Application of Sugiki in the Ancient Construction PracticeAbstract: Sugiki is not only an important practical species in ancient China, but also play a very important role in the traditional construction practice. This paper mainly discusses the application of the Sugiki in the ancient time, including changes in the understanding of its performance, it’s cultivated and geographical distribution, it’s regional distribution;  It'sHarvesting, collection and transportation in the past under the conditions of science and technology, and introduces the general measurement method in the ancient times.

个人简介：
　　李浈，建筑学专业本科，建筑设计及其理论方向硕士，建筑历史与理论方向博士。2000年同济大学建筑与城市规划学院“建筑学博士后科研流动站”出站后，留校任教至今。现为同济大学建筑与城市规划学院教授，博士生导师，学科负责人之一。中国民族建筑研究会民居建筑专业委员会委员。中国建筑学会建筑史学分会学术委员。中国建筑学会建筑史学分会青年工作委员会副主任委员。上海市民俗文化学会副会长、理事。

　　李浈教授长期从事中国古代建筑技术史方面的科研工作，并对中国传统建筑工艺研究深有造诣。1993年以来，先后发表学术论文50余篇。在实践方面，主持完成历史街区保护规划、历史建筑以及文物建筑保护与整治项目数十项，特别是在负责江南水乡乌镇、西塘的保护规划与历史建筑整治实践中卓有成效，深受信任和好评，并集体获得2003年联合国教科文组织颁发的亚太文化遗产保护杰出贡献奖。

Mr. Li Zhen, professor of College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University. Member of China  National Architecture Research Association,  Architectural Society of China,  Vice President of Shanghai Folk Culture Society. He is an accomplished scholar of the art and craft of Chinese traditional architecture, and has been engaged in the research of the history of Chinese ancient architecture technology. He has published more than 50 papers during the last 20 years.
